On Saturday the 18th of October, Miss Kyla joined three students from Room 8 to attend the first ever OMGTech event in Auckland City! The day was filled with great activities ranging from: disc drive destruction, marshmallow catapults, 3D Printing, Coding and more! We even got to meet the Mayor of Auckland - Len Brown! It was such an amazing experience and we hope that this programme continues for other young people in New Zealand.
We are a class of Year 5 and 6 students from Tamaki Primary! Our teacher is Miss Morrison.

I am so glad that some of our TPS students got to experience this amazing event! It looks like they got to play with lots of cool technology - I hope they have brought back some ideas into the classroom!
